"Counting Stars" הוא הסינגל השני באלבום Native של הלהקה ואן רפובליק. השיר השיג את המקום הראשון במצעדים בקנדה ובבריטניה, ואת המקום השני בארצות הברית, והוא נחשב לאחד השירים המצליחים ביותר של הלהקה.
כמו כן הקליפ של השיר, שמראה את חברי הלהקה בקומת הקרקע של בניין, השיג מעל ל-3.6 מיליארד צפיות ביוטיוב ונכלל ברשימת הסרטונים הנצפים ביותר בכל הזמנים.

אוקיי אז אני לא מכירה שירים אחרים של ואן רפובליק חוץ מזה, אבל הקאבר שמצאתי שהם עשו נתן לי ממש ווייב טוב של להקה שאני אוהבת נורא וזה גרם לי להתבאס שהם לא הלהקה הזאת ;)
אבל באמת שיר מעולה שנתקע בראש, אני אוהבת גם את הקונספט שלו ואת המילים שהן אם פירשתי נכון על בעצם להנות מדברים פשוטים בלי כסף כמו צפייה בכוכבים, ועל זה שהעולם נהיה שלכל דבר צריך כסף אבל כמו שאומרים בשיר עדיין יש תקווה (אם זה מה שהם אומרים בכלל אופס)
אני אוהבת את הסולן ששר (לא זוכרת את השם שלו) ואת זה שבהתחלה השיר איטי מאוד ואז מתחיל להיות בקצב מהיר יותר. בקאבר שלהם (אם אפשר לקרוא לזה קאבר) לא ממש אהבתי את ההתחלה אבל כן אהבתי שהשיר קצת יותר ארוך ושאין את הקטע של Take that money, watch it burn וכו'.
