Nobody’s Empire הוא השיר הראשון באלבום Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance של הלהקה בל אנד סבסטיאן, שיצא ב-19 בינואר 2015. סולן הלהקה סטיוארט מורדוך סיפר שהשיר מתאר את תסמונת העייפות הכרונית שהתמודד עמה במשך 7 שנים. השיר נמנה בין השירים המוכרים ביותר של הלהקה.

וואו, מאיפה להתחיל. כלומר, איך כותבים דעה על שיר (ולהקה) ששמעת ואהבת מגיל אפס?
בלי קשר לזה שבל אנד סבסטיאן זה לא רק כל הילדות שלי אלא די כל החיים שלי, השיר הזה הוא מהשירים הכי מרגשים של הלהקה בעיניי וגורם לי לבכות פחות או יותר בכל פעם שאני שומעת אותו :<
קרה לי יותר מדי פעמים שקראתי מילים של שיר של הלהקה והסתבר שהוא בכלל על משהו שונה לגמרי ממה שחשבתי אז בטח, שיהיה על מחלה כרונית שמישהו סבל ממנה שבע שנים, למה שהם יכתבו שיר מעולה על משהו נחמד
מה שמאוד אהבתי בשיר (וברוב השירים של בל אנד סבסטיאן) זה שהכותרת של השיר מופיעה רק פעם אחת בניגוד לשירים מסוימים של אמנים שכל השיר זה הפזמון+השם של השיר, ככה לאמנ.ית יש חופש לכתוב את השיר לא רק על השם שלו.
ועוד משהו שהתרגשתי ממנו זה שבשיר יש את השורה Someone sang a song and I sang along Cause I knew the words from my childhood וזאת אני!! כאילו עד לפני איזה 3 שנים הייתי מזמזמת בג'יבריש אבל כע
